We are the National Foundation for Infectious Diseases (NFID), located in Bethesda, Maryland, and since 1973, we have been dedicated to healthier lives through the effective prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of infectious diseases across the lifespan.
We are searching for an Executive Assistant to support the Executive Director/CEO and function as the office manager. In addition, this position will be responsible for:
NFID Board of Directors administrative responsibilities including coordinating logistics, preparing meeting materials, agendas, and minutes for the Board and standing Board Committees as assigned
NFID awards program including managing the solicitation of nominations and the review and notification process.
Our ideal candidate will have at last 3 years of successful experience as an executive assistant in a non-profit environment, supporting the CEO (or senior executives) with proven ability to think proactively and respond quickly. Board governance experience, strong project management skills, excellent written/verbal communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-focused environment are a must for this role!
