Proactively provide leadership, direction, and assistance in the development and assistance of membership recruitment and outreach campaigns.
Communicate regularly through multiple vehicles to current and lapsed members, as well as prospects. This includes telephone outreach on a regular basis.
Collaborate with NAFA staff to develop membership messaging to be included in all programs and communications.
Monitor membership trends and provide informational and action-related reports to leadership as required/requested.
Develop membership outreach process and procedures to enhance overall membership satisfaction and retention.
Monitor AMS data integrity and processes as needed.
Serve as staff liaison to the Chapter Governance Board.
Under the direction of, and in collaboration with, the department director, develop and implement strategies to accomplish Association’s stated goals of member awareness of and satisfaction with Association programs, including but not limited to regional chapters, publications, educational offerings, websites, and networking opportunities.
Develop and implement member recognition programs (e.g. awards, Club NAFA, etc.).
General Service (10%)
Serve as a representative at appropriate chapter, industry and NAFA events.
Develop and deliver persuasive and valuable presentations as required
Other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Proven association membership recruitment and retention experience
Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
Experience in delivering member-focused campaigns
Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
Excellent listening and presentation skills
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
5+ years of marketing experience in an association membership role
Ability to use video-conferencing platforms
Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment
