This Database Coordinator n provides administrative and database support for the IT department, primarily focused on the areas of membership and certification. There are no direct reports or financial signature authority assigned to this position.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Membership and Certification Processing
Process payments for new joins and renewals, to include quarterly payments
Process recertification payments
Process new certification exam applications
Processes certification exam re-take applications
Processes certification updates upon notification of exam results, pass/fail, completion of program
Database changes/revisions/updates to member records as requested on renewal notices
Enter requests for new member gifts into call tab
Enter requests for renewal gifts into call tab
Renewal dues receipts emailed upon request (otherwise, receipts go out automatically through iMIS)
Runs queries and reports, tracks trends, data analysis for office, and upon request in coordination with the IT Director
Does data entry, database changes for membership and certification – responsible for accuracy and database cleaning
Provides additional data entry for membership information management including updates, return mail and prospects
Works with membership to maintain all branch listings, includes adding, deleting and updating branch rosters
Processes all Trailblazer, Safety Awards, and Safe Company Application fees
Write and pulls IQAs to support membership, programs and services, marketing, advocacy, public relations
Responds to phone and email inquiries regarding membership records
CC declines phone/email when needed (follow finance process)
Provides daily phone back-up and support to receptionist, as required (primary)
May attend LANDSCAPES and other meetings or events, as requested

Bachelor Degree or equivalent work experience
Minimum of two years work experience with a database program; iMIS preferred
Possess a positive team-player attitude.
Enthusiastic, articulate, personable and diplomatic customer service skills.
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
Ability to multitask, work independently and efficiently under deadline.
Attention to detail is a must.
