American Public Works Association (APWA), a national non-profit association, seeks an E-Learning Specialist located in our downtown Kansas City office.
This new position will be part of a team that will deliver the web based educational opportunities for the association. Primary responsibilities include the coordination of the technology delivery of the association’s monthly Click, Listen and Learn webinars, development of online tutorial videos, certification program software QuestionMark support and development and customer service support of the accreditation program’s self-assessment web based software program.

Associate’s degree combined with a minimum of three years’ experience in adult continuing education, online learning, training or similar background or a combination of experience and education. The ideal candidate will have a high proficiency in Microsoft Office applications using 2010 version or higher (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with Access or database software programs is highly desired. Needs to have a working knowledge of LMS and online training systems. Hands-on experience with E-learning tools such as Adobe Connect, Captivate, etc. Demonstrated skill in administering and supporting systems with internal and external customers desired. Excellent customer service skills, ability to prioritize workload, be flexible and detailed oriented. Association and technical education program delivery experience a plus.
