The Ethics & Compliance Initiative (ECI), America’s oldest ethics research and membership association. The Sales Operations Specialist will be a key player in supporting and streamlining sales of memberships and professional services to increase revenue and member satisfaction. The primary focus of this role will be to optimize and maintain Customer Relations Management (CRM) and marketing automation systems. Leading candidates have a strong understanding of current CRM best practices and trends, technical background on CRM products, strong ability to effectively self-manage priorities and enjoy working in and thrive in cross-functional project teams.
Build Salesforce reports and dashboards to track KPIs and accurately gauge the growth and success of ECI’s membership and professional services.
Administer ECI’s Salesforce account to ensure data integrity, lead flow and sales process compliance.
Maintain and report sales pipeline data, forecasting and analysis.
Organize and administer all membership and certification renewals and transactions.
Support sales efforts with inbound calls, member requests and registration processes.
Develop internal relationships with business stakeholders (sales, marketing, research, surveys and benchmarking, events, finance).
Develop and maintain data integrity between Salesforce.com and ECI’s accounting and finance systems.
Improve ECI’s revenue generation campaigns – marketing automation systems (Lightning Connect (FKA Pardot); and collaborate with sales and marketing on lead generation; marketing campaign management, and member satisfaction.
Become the go-to Salesforce resource for the organization – helping the team to understand the data, utilize the tools, contribute timely information to records and fully realize the valuable information available via Salesforce records.
Desired Skills and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree with 1- 3 years of applicable experience.
Hands-on experience administering Salesforce.com (and related tools: Dataloader, Chatter, Reports/Dashboards).
Solid understanding of Microsoft Office products.
Understanding of Cloud-based technologies, especially marketing automation tools, a plus.
Goal-oriented, passionate, high-energy professional with a “can do” spirit.
Willingness to learn new technologies, self-motivated, and able to work independently and cross-functionally.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
The drive to succeed and participate in the growth of an extremely fast-paced, exciting organization.
Experience with Salesforce.com/CRM Integration tools such as Data.com Informatica or Salesforce Lightning Connect a plus
