Candidates must have at least three years of experience in the following areas:
- Project management experience with emphasis on online communications, CMS tools, and content organization
- Management of online content, communications programs, and marketing efforts
- Vendor and contractor management
- Software implementation/integration projects and SDL
Qualified candidates will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, will be customer service-oriented and dedicated team players. Candidates must be self-motivated, highly organized, especially with digital information, and have the ability to prioritize work and manage tasks, meeting short-term and long-term deadlines.
A strong knowledge of information organization is required. Candidates should be able to break down complex systems into logical organizational groups and work with others to develop the entire system. A strong knowledge of digital communications is also required. Basic knowledge of design principles and usability is a plus. Candidates should also have working knowledge of the interactive production process, including graphics creation and optimization, web page production and programming. Knowledge of MS Project, HTML, CSS and design programs is strongly preferred. A bachelor’s degree in IT, project management or a related field, or the equivalent in experience and education, is required.
The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) helps its members build communities.
