About the position: The American Alliance of Museums seeks a strong relationship builder to serve as point of contact for interpreting membership policies for customers, members & staff. Respond to high volume of customer phone and email inquiries and manage high volume of membership data processing. Manage renewals for 29,000 members; processing of membership cards; provide administrative and onsite support at Museums Advocacy Day and the Alliance’s Annual Meeting. Salary is $50K.
Skills and qualifications: The successful candidate will be able to respond to customer inquiries and communicate membership program options and benefits by phone, email and in person. The ability to use or learn association management software, MS Office and understanding of basic accounting practices for processing payments is required. Strong attention to detail is a must.
