The American Sportfishing Association (ASA) is currently seeking a full-time Trade Show Coordinator to assist in the production of ICAST – The world’s largest Sportfishing trade show. Overall Responsibilities: To execute actions in established timeline for the production of the trade show including but not limited to exhibitor and attendee relations, registration, marketing and working directly with general show contractor and show vendors.
Specific Responsibilities: - To act as main point of contact for exhibitor inquiries including display regulations, show service forms, exhibitor rules and regulations and other questions to assist in the exhibitor’s show planning - To assist in processing exhibit contracts and manage the exhibitor payment process - To act as the main point of contact for attendee inquiries - To coordinate registration and housing as directed by the Trade Show Operations Manager - To coordinate and oversee marketing campaigns including mailings, emails and print marketing pieces - To coordinate staff books, post meeting reports and travel for tradeshow - To maintain and update website with communications department - To coordinate and oversee sponsorship program - To provide excellent customer service to exhibitors and attendees by phone, email and in person at show site - To provide administrative support to the department including data entry, filing, invoicing, mailings and ordering supplies - To assist in the coordination of meetings, conferences and trade show events as directed by the Vice President, Trade Show and Membership and Trade Show Operations Manager - To perform duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Vice President, Trade Show and Membership and Trade Show Operations Manager
Qualifications: - College degree in business or equivalent experience - Must have one year of trade show and/or conference planning experience - Must be extremely detail-oriented and able to balance multiple projects - Must possess the ability to prioritize, meet strict deadlines, and make productive use of time under pressure - Must have excellent oral and written communication skills - Must be professional and able to adapt to a variety of personality types and subject matter - Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Professional. Clear Vantage and Event Management software knowledge preferred but not required - Must be a team player and have a willingness to travel
