The Financial Services Information Sharing & Analysis Center (FS-ISAC) has grown significantly in the last 19 years and is in need of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to handle all finance, treasury management and accounting for the association.
Duties include management of budgeting process, monthly financials, accounts receivable, accounts payable, investments, cash forecasting and the office management. The CFO manages a staff of ten people and works closely with the CEO and other executives to manage the finances for the association and various departments.
FS-ISAC also has three subsidiaries and the CFO is responsible for the yearend reporting of the combined financials for the company and for working with the outside audit firm to manage the annual audit of the association.
The CFO position is required to work at the FS-ISAC corporate headquarters in Reston, Virginia. The candidate must have a clear understanding of accounting principles, CPA preferred. The CFO must also have managed accounts receivable, payroll, investments, and accounts payable operations.
The President & CEO will rely on the CFO to prepare budgets and manage monthly financials, as well as work with the outside audit firm to complete a successful annual audit.
Candidates should have at least ten years experience, preferably with a nonprofit association and have an understanding and working knowledge of subsidiary accounting.
Candidates with current CPA and/or CTP certifications are preferred.

The Financial Services Information Sharing & Analysis Center (FS-ISAC) is a nonprofit association formed in 1999 with the goal of sharing information on cyber and physical threats, vulnerabilities and incidents that affect the financial services sector. Since it's formation, FS-ISAC has grown from a few dozen companies located in the U.S. to over 7,000 member companies in 48 countries today. It's revenues and staff have also expanded, now consisting of three operations centers and three subsidiaries totaling over 120 staff.
