The American College of Radiology (ACR) seeks a talented, enthusiastic Senior Financial Analyst to support ACR’s Finance function. ACR’s Financial Planning & Reporting Analyst is a key member of the finance team providing financial reporting, analysis and insights on program performance and operations. As a member of the team, you will consolidate results across the organization, providing a unique breadth of exposure to all aspects of our business. You will have the opportunity to partner with senior program leaders and financial analysts to view trends, diagnose results and prepare presentations for executive-level audiences.

We are looking for someone with an entrepreneurial, hands-on approach who is also capable of collaborating with many different stakeholders to delve deep into operational and financial data to provide insights.
The role requires strong communication, problem solving, critical thinking, and influencing skills in order to effectively:
Articulate outcomes of analysis and relevant insights
Develop presentations to communicate business and analysis results to senior audiences
Develop comprehensive financial models and forecasts based on inputs and feedback from program leads
As a member of the ACR team you will:
Prepare consolidated ACR monthly, quarterly & annual financial reporting and variance analysis for both operating and capital plans including financial statements, dashboards, data visualizations, and PowerPoint presentations with concise notes for an Executive-level audience. Prepare ad-hoc reporting as needed to support monitoring of operations and decision making
Work with program leaders to explain variances from budget and leverage insights from variance analysis to assess ongoing financial impacts to operations, advise program leaders on impacts to operational goals, and influence business decision-making
Manage budgeting processes for assigned departments and/or activities, including capturing business information to translate into financial assumptions, entering budgets into template, and translating reports for program and operations users.
Monitor revenue and cost trends and proactively alert business owners of anticipated variances from budget
Create financial models and “what-if” scenarios to forecast multi-year projections of diverse programs with multiple drivers to identify risks and opportunities and inform business decisions
Identify ways to improve accuracy and efficiency of current processes through the increased use of automation, development of new tools and/or enhanced reporting and analysis capabilities
Qualified candidates will possess the following:
Bachelor degree in finance or related business field
4+ years of experience in financial planning, reporting and analysis, budgeting and forecasting
Proficient knowledge of accounting and financial methods and techniques, including variance analysis, revenue/cost forecasting, ratios, fixed/variable costs, return on investment
Expert Excel skills; proficiency in PowerPoint
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organization skills and attention to detail
Ability to self-motivate in a fast-paced and rapidly-changing environment with competing deadlines; moving projects forward and maintaining high work quality
Experience with Tableau or other data visualization tool, Host Analytics and Microsoft Dynamics GP
