We are looking to hire an Associate, Membership & Industry Partnership (IP) Operations to support team operations and analytics with overall responsibility for data compilation, data analytics, and other reporting functions associated with all categories of membership data. Additionally, the Associate will support membership/customer service with data entry and maintenance, activities related to member dues billing and revenue collection, recruitment, retention, and engagement, including answering customer inquiries over multiple channels including email, direct mail, and telephone. This position reports to the Vice President, Membership and Industry Partnerships.
We are looking for someone with three to five years related experience and sound knowledge of non-profit/association membership operations. The candidate will fulfill the following responsibilities.
Project management for membership and industry partner initiatives.
Data integrity responsibilities as it relates to list uploads and pulls, updated contact information, and documentation upload.
Data analysis responsibilities as it relates to demographic, financial and trends forecasting and tracking.
Ability to generate simple and complex reports from the membership database and CRM.
Develop significant member value analytics and actionable data.
Respond to member inquiries received via phone, email and fax.
Process membership applications, account updates, and contact information.
Understand the ASID invoicing system, applying payments, updating membership orders, and updating credit cards.
In order to provide ASID customers with services during inclement weather, office closure, or other extraordinary events, this position will telework to provide continuous service unless they encounter circumstances that may prevent them from working from home.
Experience with membership and CRM databases and analytic tools (Associations Anywhere and Pipedrive experience a plus).
Experience using Crystal Reports and/or SAP Business Objects/Webi.
Propensity for analytics, trendspotting, and an entrepreneurial approach to data analysis.
Good organizational skills with ability to organize workload and multiple priorities and attention to detail.
Excellent data entry skills and ability to effectively follow standard operating procedures.
High proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Strong telephone etiquette skills.
Strong customer service orientation, with the ability to actively listen, elicit information, comprehend customer issues/needs and recommend solutions.
Works well in a team environment and takes appropriate individual initiative to problem-solve.
Flexible, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
