The Association for Corporate Growth Los Angeles (ACG LA) represents Southern California’s middle market private equity firms, investment banks, law firms, accounting firms, consultancies, and related service providers. ACG LA is seeking a full-time Membership & Events Manager. ACG LA’s working environment emphasizes collaboration, teamwork, and innovation.
Excellent customer service skills are essential to success. Applicants must have database experience and expertise in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience working in netForum (or another association management system) is preferred. Applicants must also have experience planning and managing events (50-250 attendees) and the flexibility to staff 2-3 evening events per month.
Responsibilities include and are not limited to:
Work with Executive Director and Membership Chair to achieve annual membership goals and objectives. Manage association database (netForum) to ensure record consistency, accurate updates, proper and valid changes to all records. Responsible for all membership-related activities and projects. Generate monthly and year-end membership reports and provide trends analysis to aid in planning and analysis of membership development. Provide and ensure high quality service to members.
At least 2 years prior experience with an Association Management System (AMS). Preferred experience with Abila’s netForum Enterprise or comparable system (iMIS, Personify/TIMMS, Aptify, etc.).
Previous experience at an association, nonprofit, or membership-based company preferred.
Prior customer service experience.
Experience with website content management systems.
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite- especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Solid verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to learn quickly, respond to emails in a timely manner, and finish projects/assignments on time.
Prior experience with an email broadcast system such as RealMagnet, Constant Contact, or iContact.
