The National Association for Catering and Events (NACE) has an exceptional opportunity for a rising association pro with solid administrative, social media and marketing skills.
As the Program Coordinator at NACE, you’ll be responsible for providing program and administrative support for initiatives that educate, inform and strengthen our community of catering and event professionals. You’ll be the lead administrative support for the Foundation of NACE, helping to provide scholarships and grants to our members and chapters. You’ll also be a key player in our content strategy, social media and marketing that delivers education and resources in collaboration with our national business partners.
Execute and contribute to content plans involving social media, email and webinars
Track marketing and communications deliverables for business partners
Manage logistics for NACE external presence at key industry events and member meet-ups
Collect, analyze and report data and analytics
Collaborate on content curation for NACE newsletters
Create and maintain web pages and blog postings
Grow and manage Foundation social media presence across NACE channels
Support the Board of Trustees and coordinate monthly Board of Trustee calls and materials
Manage Foundation donations, pledges and donor relations
Manage grant and scholarship processes
Assist volunteers in planning and executing fundraising events.
Provide administrative support to the Foundation
Manage communications for the Foundation and generate content with assistance from staff and Trustees
3+ years of experience at a trade or professional association required. Associate degree or higher in a relevant discipline, or a combination of work experience and other credentials. You should have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, and a strong desire to learn and grow in a team environment. Excellent time management and organizational skills are a must. Knowledge of basic photo and graphics editing and familiarity with social media tools and WordPress are a plus.
You must be able to travel for work occasionally and perform occasional work on weekends.
