We are seeking a Specialist, Member Engagement & Recognition to serve as an important contributor to the Membership team, helping to shape and implement Special Interest Group and Recognition programs for our members and staff. You will work with our staff to match members with volunteer opportunities and will also support expansion of our Special Interest Groups (SIGs). This is a highly collaborative position, working across all departments and functional areas within the organization to achieve our goals.
What you’ll bring to the job:
BA/BS degree preferred and a minimum of 3 years association, healthcare, or non-profit experience
Special Interest Group, Chapter Relations, or other component relations experience is a plus
Strong written and oral communications skills necessary to articulate project status and actively participate in meetings and planning calls
Diplomacy, tact, and emotional intelligence
Advanced knowledge of Power BI and association management software (Abila/NetForum) preferred
Ability to coordinate projects effectively by utilizing project management tools
Ability to meet deadlines and successfully multi-task competing priorities
Experience providing support to webinars is a plus
Proven track record of effective teamwork, both internal and external, in dealings with members and collaborators
Motivation, results-orientation, and ability to prioritize team efforts to use resources efficiently

What you’ll own:
Coordinate activities related to overall administration of Special Interest Groups (SIGs)
Manage the SIG by ensuring execution of each groups workplan
Support SIGs member leaders by suggesting content, uploading videos, reviewing posts
Develop a succession plan and work with governance team on committee rotation process
Coordinate SIG application process and create resources for SIG steering committees
Coordinate onsite activities for ENDO annual meeting and virtual events
Identify potential opportunities for creating new SIG groups
Work with cross-functional team to ensure that SIG ideas and networking opportunities are embraced by other committees and workgroups
Support renewals by partnering with the Membership team to communicate with volunteer leaders encouraging timely membership renewals
Micro-Volunteering Workgroup support & administration
Recommend new processes and streamlining opportunities to measure and increase committee/workgroup engagement
Support the committee appointment process including application, selection, and staff/member onboarding
Member “Get Involved” form process, linking to volunteering, spotlight, and referral program
Support the continuous engagement of members by connecting them to opportunities to give back to the society through service and sharing
Work with a cross-functional team to identify gaps in engagement forms and enhance them in a way that serves the needs of members
Develops a pipeline for membership
Work with a cross functional team to support member referrals into the Society
Member Spotlight process
Recruit members to be featured in the spotlight
Manage the member spotlight posting schedule as well as ensuring they are posted to the website
Manage the online form associated with collecting spotlights
Develop a structure and process for member recognition program
Support the development of a volunteer/member recognition and reward program
Recognize members for tenure in the Society as well as outside professional achievements
Coordinate formal thank you and birthday recognition for members.
Liaise with staff to engage members who touch every aspect of what we do at the Society
Provide administrative support to the department and other cross-functional department needs as assigned
