FPA is seeking a Chapter Engagement Manager to proactively and reactively engage and support the Association's vibrant network of 81 chapters and state councils. The role is critical to ensuring the chapters and their local volunteer leaders and staff receive the support and training they need in all areas of chapter operations and governance. The position requires a high-energy self-started who will bring creativity and innovation to the Association as we usher in a new era of collaboration with the entire chapter system. FPA's Central Office is located in Denver, Colorado. Remote employment will be considered. Currently all employees are temporarily remote due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Primary duties and responsibilities: Provide governance and operational plan training for chapter leaders Respond to chapter leader and chapter executive inquiries (email, phone, etc.) in a timing manner. Collaborate with FPA Meetings Team to oversee content development for the annual OneFPA Chapter Leaders Conference Oversee updates and execution to the chapter affiliation agreement Review and approve chapter updates to bylaws Ensure chapter compliance to governing documents Oversee processing of state council dues Oversee annual chapter leadership roster updates Regularly communicate with chapters about FPA programs, services, and resources Assist in identifying, creating, planning, and developing new chapter programs and services Provide support to chapter leaders pertaining to FPA services and resources, member recruitment and retention campaigns, and chapter operations Manage content collection for all chapter leader email communications Coordinate chapter leadership visits from Association staff and national leadership Monitor FPA Connect (online) communities designated for chapter support and relations Manage chapter pages on Association's website Support chapter performance monitoring, and performance improvement processes and initiatives |
