POSITION DESCRIPTION: The FIA Membership Programs & Sales Specialist is responsible for the overall membership sales effort, sales of FIA products and engagement of members. Responsibilities - Lead sales person for FIA memberships. Coordinates sales meetings (Zoom and in-person) for themselves and President & CEO.
- Liaison for up to two committees and supports other committee work.
- Responsible for Forging University (FIA’s e-learning platform).
- Manages 3rd party membership programs including surveys and affinity programs.
- Responsible for member engagement in all member benefit programs, including Comp & Benefits Survey; Safety Survey; Orders & Shipments Survey; SafetyBLR.com; committees.
- Assists with events and marketing as needed.
- Contributes & coordinates member focused articles for FIA Magazine
- Assists with securing advertisers for FIAs quarterly magazine – FIA Magazine
- Supports FIA Forging Foundation (FIERF) events as needed.
- Travels to and assists with execution of ForgeFair, major events and training courses as needed.
- Manages FIA/FIERF booth at FORGE FAIR and at other shows FIA/FIERF has a presence at.
- Creates marketing pieces for promoting membership sales and engagement.
- Attends and assist with events as needed.
- Provides social media coverage at FIA/FIERF events.
- Liaison for Forging University and getting member engagement. Works with partners to bring on new training courses.
- Assists with eblasts and other marketing tasks as needed.
MORE INFORMATION: Salary range for this position is $45,000 to $65,000 per year, depending on abilities and experience. This is a professional exempt position. No relocation expenses are available.
