Your Core Contributions To The Team
- Responsible for technical and operational support of CCIM’s learning management system, Canvas, and education delivery platform, Zoom.
- Edit/copy and maintain classroom course sites supporting CCIM Institute’s direct delivery, licensed sponsor and corporate courses.
- Coordinate with CCIM’s education staff to update course site information throughout the year.
- Monitor online course sites with rolling enrollments to identify student and site issues.
- Establish monthly development schedule for course sites (opening 30 days prior, closing 60 days after).
- Produce and post all archived recordings from web-based live instructional sessions delivered via CCIM’s Zoom virtual classroom system.
- Identify and implement technologies to support incorporation of social learning into CCIM education programs.
- Assess technology tools and identify appropriate education applications.
- Use multi-media tools to create, edit, maintain short video lectures and demonstrations of course concepts and applications.
- Develop interactive online exercises and assessments.
- Establish and monitor metrics for determining effectiveness of resources.
- Create training resources for CCIM staff, students and instructors.
- Conduct online training sessions with new and current CCIM instructors.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for students with technical and course-related questions.
- Assist students with troubleshooting common issues inside of Canvas (navigation, test resets, etc.).
- As needed, assist with escalated Canvas help line questions during normal business hours.
- Respond to instructor and student inquiries regarding course sites (including virtual classrooms, materials, discussion board, links, reports, and enrollments).
- Troubleshoot CCIM-related questions, report technical issues as needed.
- Respond to instructor questions regarding creating course templates and adding and deleting course content.
- Serve as the association’s in-house expert on the operations of the Canvas web-based delivery platform.

- Produce exam feedback reports for students.
- Create and update exam feedback system as questions and content evolves.
- Collaborate with the Education Editor to add and edit exam questions within the LMS system.
About You
knowledge and abilities
- Minimum of two years’ experience, preferably association experience.
- Experience with learning management and virtual classroom systems as well as web-based course design.
- Demonstrated proficient skills with Microsoft Office Suite (including FrontPage), Adobe Acrobat, Captivate, evaluation software such as Survey Gizmo, and virtual meeting platforms.
- Ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues associated with student engagement with CCIM’s online learning platform.

This position reports to our Education Technology Manager, is an exempt position and can be based on-site in Chicago or work remotely.
