QUALIFICATIONS: Demonstrated payroll knowledge and experience is the most important requirement for the position. Additional experience with general accounting functions is a plus. EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE: Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) required. Experience working with payroll platforms, such as PNI and iSolved is a plus. A Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in business or accounting, 3-5 years payroll experience with a payroll of at least 40 employees, and working in a financial role, preferable as a Staff Accountant or equivalent. Proficient with Excel. Be able to organize work to meet critical deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required. High attention to detail required. Work independently with minimal supervision. Be able to multi-task and have excellent attention to details. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Must be able to communicate effectively through written and verbal communication in a professional manner and maintain confidentiality.
